A few months ago my Xbox lit up with red lights around the power button (also known as the ring of death) and wouldn't do anything, so it sat in my entertainment center for months collecting dust. The warranty was up and I wasn't about to pay to have Best Buy fix it after I had already paid them for a service plan that was now useless. So I figured I was done with it.
That was until my friend Kelly came over and tried to play it while I was in the shower. She told me she had the same problem and showed me this website, james dean red light fix. I could not believe she fixed her xbox by herself until I read a little about it and watched a few videos. They give you step by step instructions (on video) so there is no room to screw up.
So I ordered it, and once I started working on my xbox I actually enjoyed it, and it only took about an hour and a half. It's been over a year now since I fixed it and it hasn't had a single problem (hasn't even froze up).
Something I didn't expect though was all the surprise I got from my other friends once they found out that I had fixed my own xbox. A few had the same problem and even knew some people that had the same problem. So I started charging $50 bucks an x box and started fixing them in my spare time. To date I have fixed 27 xbox 360's and made enough money to pay off most of my credit card bills. I'm now trying to buy broken xbox's off ebay and craigslist to flip and sell again.
So if you have a broken x box either e-mail me at hollaprosper@yahoo.com.
Or you can go to red light fix and get your xbox working again yourself.
